Sailing into Moorea
Tendering onto Moorea...

...then we're off to snorkel with sting rays and black-tipped sharks.

(the girl was topless as we motored by...she ducked into the water quickly)
At our destination...where are the sharks?
Right here...sharks were swimming all around our boat...
...and then we were swimming with them...
was thrilling seeing them up close and wild in the water.
...and petting the HUGE sting rays...awesome!
A great day of snorkeling....
...then it was party time on the ship as we sailed away.

Looking for the bus...
On the bus to Bloody Mary's...
No drinks yet...off to snorkel.
And, to find the beach...after an hour and a half trek....Allan searches the map for the closest beach.
Now it is starting to rain...but we stopped for a quick pix.
Only Daryl & Karen were "brave" enough to snorkel in the rain.
Now it is back to the ship...soaked and cold.
A not so good day in Bora Bora.

Onto Tahiti
PAPEETE, TAHITI
Sailing into Papeete...
Our greeters here...just follow the drum beat.
...and the Polynesian girls....we're in Tahiti now.
Loading pineapples onto our ship...

Off on our 'open air bumpy bus ride' tour of Tahiti..
first stop...the lighthouse ..then onto the blowhole.
and a stop at the botanical gardens (yes, that's a real flower)
After 4 hours on the bus...finally a stop for a beverage of choice and a snack.
Nothing like a beer to cheer everyone up.
Some shopping in Papeete at the open air market...
...for some black pearls.
Then it was Food Truck night in the parking lot beside the ship.
Mike, Mitzi and I couldn't pass up the crepes that were featured there.

After 2 days at sea...an unexpected stop on the island of Nuku Hiva
for a medical emergency.
...then a surprise visit from a Manta Ray swimming around the ship.
And now it is time to say "Good-bye"
...it was a great cruise!
